Commission The Michigan Local Public Health Accreditation Commission provides oversight of the Program. The Commission comprises fourteen (14) members: 1 Chair (appointed by the MPHI
Board of Directors) The Commission meets quarterly to discuss issues concerning the accreditation process and to review On-Site Review Reports. After reviewing the on-site review outcomes, the Commission makes accreditation status recommendations to MDCH, MDA and MDEQ. The three departments then make the final accreditation determination.
