Cycle 4 reviews begin February 2, 2009. Several changes will be implemented for Cycle 4, including introduction of the Quality Improvement Supplement (QIS) in the Powers and Duties section and updates to the Accreditation web-reporting module.

Four LHDs (Mid-Michigan District Health Department; St. Clair County Health Department; Grand Traverse County Health Department; and Allegan County Health Department) are currently implementing quality improvement projects via participation in the Multi-State Learning Collaborative 3 (MLC-3) project. Mid-Michigan District Health Department and St. Clair County Health Department are working on Target Area: Customer Service/Satisfaction, while Grand Traverse County Health Department and Allegan County Health Department are working on Target Area: Culturally Appropriate Services.
